Prayer Needs: Please continue to pray for Dorothy Lund, and Kevin and Sheila Ries. Please keep in your prayers Elmer Bultje who is experiencing ongoing health problems. Pray for comfort and strength for him. Please pray for Jim Norton who was hospitalized for pneumonia and difficulty breathing. Keep in your prayers Margie Vangenderen who recently went in for back surgery. She is doing well, but please pray for continued healing and strength. Please also keep in your prayer the family of Willie Punt during this time while they grieve with the passing of Willie. Please pray for the family of Delvin Van Soest while they also mourn the passing of Delvin. Please remember in your prayers Tim Nydam who is serving in Afghanistan, and Jake Matzen, who will be deploying to Afghanistan.

*Remember our shut-ins: Frances Hansum in Platte Care Center, Henrietta Bultje in Brady Home, Lillian Van Genderen in the Corsica Nursing Home, Adrian DeWaard at the Human Services Center in Yankton, and Ray and Johanna Olivier in the Corsica Nursing Home.

*Today we are happy to celebrate Winfred Nydam’s birthday. We are inviting all to attend a reception in the fellowship hall immediately following the morning service.

* Come celebrate Winfred Nydam's 80th birthday on sunday Aug29, after the morning service and enjoy a piece of cake with him and his family. Please no presents.

*The Aurora Christian Sportsmen are having another event for families on September 3rd and 4th. We will be hosting a potluck banquet on Friday night with a trap shoot afterward. On Saturday we will be hosting a dove hunting tournament and dove feed for the hunters for all those interested. Please see flier in back of church for more information. Please invite your family and friends who like to hunt to this fun event.
