***UP COMING CHURCH AND COMMUNITY EVENTS***.
*Hope Circle Wednesday @ 7:30PM. Linda De Haai is the leader of Lesson 5. Karen Tegethoff is the hostess.
* Dorcas meeting Thursday @ 1:30PM. Lesson is Unit 4 Day 2 & 3, Leader- Jan Bruinsma. Roll call is a verse on page 220. Hostess is Pauline Tolsma.
*Prayer meeting Thursday @ 7:30 PM in the fellowship Hall. Anyone wanting to come to participate in an evening of prayer is encouraged to attend. This will be a weekly prayer group but please come whenever you can!
*Men’s bible study will be held every other Saturday @ 7:00AM at the shop. ALL men are invited to attend. They will be meeting again next Saturday.
*Congregational meeting is Monday, January 30th @ 7:30 PM. This meeting is to discuss the issues and options of the problems we are having with the Parsonage.
*Sportsman Game Feed is February 11. Pastor Mark Hoehne is speaking again this year. Everyone is invited to join us in this evening of “good food” and fellowship.
*There is still time to sort through your closets for usable shoes, socks and boots because the collection of these continues. The great amount already donated is amazing and will gratefully be received by The Black Hills and The Sioux Falls Centers of Hope. Thank you and please keep filling the carts in the north entrance.
*The Fellowship Supper and Tour of Tables event at DCS has been combined into one on Friday, March 9, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. Kitty Werthmann will be sharing her experience living in occupied Austria during World War II. Don’t miss this incredible opportunity! Hostesses are needed to decorate and invite others to sit at their table. Couples or individuals are welcome to host tables. Tickets are $10/person. If you are willing to host a table, please contact Camielle Veenstra 946-5139 veenstra@siouxvalley.net or Bonnie Vander Ley 946-5409 vanderley@siouxvalley.net. More information about the event will be coming in future announcements.

*Twila Dykstra met with the consistory about taking pictures for a church directory. Tony Bartscher was contacted about fixing the old walls and adding drain tile to the parsonage basement. Other options for the parsonage were also discussed. A schedule will be set up for snow removal.
